Little Secrets Bakehouse was born in 2015 by Executive Chef Daniel Collins, who settled in Australia from the UK in 2007. Bringing with him European knowledge and experience gained during his career in such organisations as Gordon Ramsay Holdings and Conran Restaurants.
Daniel, with his passion for baking noticed consumer trends were quickly changing and the demand for “quality” gluten free desserts was on the rise. Daniel then set out to innovate the market by developing an exclusive core range of boutique gluten free desserts, using only premium ingredients paired with innovative flavour combinations. All products are handmade from Daniel’s secret recipes. No premixes allowed! Setting the benchmark for gluten free wholesale bakery manufacturing and distribution in Sydney.
Little Secrets Bakehouse quickly became Sydney’s first choice for quality gluten free wholesale desserts and are now loved and trusted by hundreds of cafés, clubs, restaurants, functions centres and their customers alike.
In order to keep up with demand. Mary Varnier joined the Little Secrets Bakehouse family in October of 2020, to support the overwhelming growth and to allow Daniel time to focus on the increased manufacturing demands and his passion in creating new and enticing gluten free food experiences for our customers and their consumers. Along with Mary, Gerhard Langreiter also joined the team to mentor and encourage growth through best manufacturing practices. Both bringing with them their individual unique skills and a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in the operations and ownership of other successful wholesale bakery businesses.
Moving into 2021, Little Secrets Bakehouse mission is to remain a boutique, wholesale gluten free manufacturer. We believe consumer expectations have reached a new level where ordinary is just not acceptable. We do not compromise on quality and service and maintain a family business approach. We are dedicated to developing and manufacturing products that not only taste amazing but visually light up your pastry cabinets.
